Application Process

Students talk with a local farmer, filming him for a promotional video for Knox Farms. The Community Action Gateway can accommodate only a limited number of students each year–approximately 15 students in each class. In the spring of each year, applicants for admission to Trinity who are judged to have the necessary academic qualifications and potential interest in community action are invited to become candidates for enrollment in the Gateway. Broadly speaking, students with an interest in social justice and a desire to explore community-based research in and outside of Hartford are welcome to apply to this Gateway, regardless of disciplinary interests.

Students admitted to the Trinity Class of 2023: to be considered for the Community Action Gateway, please fill in the form located here by Sunday April 14, 2019.
